Persian Gulf · desert and skyline

Dubai & Abu Dhabi
Monumental architecture, desert and Gulf skyline — the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Palm Jumeirah and the dunes, shot with the same discipline of light as a film production.
Two cities that read as a single set: the white marble and gold leaf of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the steel edge of the Dubai skyline over the water.
Symmetry and scale. The mosque was filmed hunting its axes: colonnades repeating to the vanishing point, domes framed inside arches, reflections doubling the architecture in the pools. No gratuitous wide angle — scale is built through composition.
From desert to water. Contrast is the story: the endless texture of the dunes at sunset against the glass of Creek Harbour and the Marina. Aerial drone capture for the openings, prime lenses for the portraits.
