A short film on fashion designer Felipe Alvarado — from the adobe walls and cactus fields of his origin to the quarry stone and silver of Zacatecas, narrated in first person over his own trajectory and closing on the anniversary runway show.
An eight-minute short film built on Felipe Alvarado's own voice. There is no interview and no narrator: the designer tells his story in first person while the image translates it, from the semi-desert landscape where it all began to the runway show that closes it.
Adobe, cactus fields and a muse. The first act lives in the origin — adobe walls, cactus fields, the mother and the grandmother — with the figure of the muse as the connecting thread. Shot at the Conos de Santa Mónica, where clay architecture becomes a natural set for the white gown.
Quarry stone and silver. The second act is Zacatecas: the cable car over Cerro de la Bufa as an industrial structure against the sky, the cathedral from above, and Casa Alvarado as the atelier where the pattern is cut by hand. The piece closes over the anniversary runway show, filmed by drone in a top-down shot.
