Reef, electrical storm and Mexican Caribbean sunsets — the landscape surrounding the studio's home base, filmed across the years.

The Mexican Caribbean isn't a single blue: it's the turquoise of the sandbank seen from above, the lead grey of the storm building over the coast, and the burnt orange of the sun dropping behind the mangrove.

Waiting for the light. Almost all of it is about being in the right place at the right hour and holding. Storms are shot head on, long exposure to draw the lightning; the reef demands high sun so the water opens into layers of colour.
